Thursday, November 16, 6:00pm
Reynolds Club - Mandel Hall
Tommy Orange, author of the Pulitzer Prize-finalist novel There There, will discuss the impact of erasing and retelling history within US American society. What is the role of the storyteller in preserving culture and history? How have novels and popular culture been sites of both conflict and liberation?
This event will feature a keynote conversation followed by a book signing and is open to all members of the University community. Please take a moment to RSVP.
Co-sponsored by the Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture.
